Named Costas, after the Greek word for “ribs” or “waves,” this vessel is an ode to motion made still. Sculpted in terracotta clay, its sinuous ridges spiral around the spherical form like ocean currents or folds of fabric caught mid-sway offering a tactile rhythm that invites touch and contemplation.
Handmade in Indonesia, Costascelebrates the rawness of earth and the softness of form. The natural reddish-brown clay bears subtle surface variations that add to its organic character. A sculptural object at heart, this piece is equally at home as a statement on its own or within a curated collection.
