Rooted in classical form and grounded in earthy materiality, Amara meaning “unfading” or “eternal” in Greek pays tribute to the enduring beauty of ancient amphorae. With its gently tapered base, cylindrical neck and dual loop handles, the piece evokes the silhouette of traditional storage vessels once used for olive oil, wine, or water.
Handcrafted in unglazed terracotta clay, Amara showcases a warm, sun-baked finish, enriched by natural kiln markings and subtle surface irregularities. Each vessel carries the imprint of its maker, offering a sense of history reimagined through a modern, sculptural lens.
